1000mile EURO CHARITY CYCLE

Welcome to this website designed to inform you of the huge task that we are undertaking to raise money for HELP4HEROES and MACMILLAN CANCER.  With our target set at £25,000 we have certainly got our work cut out.  However with your generosity, help and support then I feel it is certainly achievable.  There are so many parts that make up this event, it isn’t just the 1000mile cycle, during the event there is also a flying visit to Sword beach Normandy for the 65th Anniversary of the D-DAY Landings to meet an amazing guy called Doug Kay who actually landed on that beach.  After the cycle there is a ‘50s themed dinner night with auction to help raise even more.  We are going via Headley Court on the route out to meet some of those our efforts will be benefiting.  Along with all this I am also wishing to raise awareness of a cancer support group in BFG called JIGSAW, organised by Elaine Crawforth.  It is to help those serving in the British Forces over in Germany who have suffered from or is suffering from cancer.
All I ask of you is that you have a good read of all the information that has been put together which can be found by following the “Links” on this page.  If you have any questions, ideas or even would like to lend your support by donating or think you can assist in any way then please get in touch.  This can only be as successful as the people who support it, ie “YOU”!!  All I have to do is bike 1000miles in 6days and say goodbye to all feeling in my lower regions for a few months.  So I thank you in advance and hope that at the very least you find this site interesting and tell your family, friends and colleagues about it.
